The cooperation program enables the implementation and financing of cross-border projects in the Czech-Saxon border area. It is managed by the Saxon State Ministry of the Environment and Agriculture. The main contact points for those interested in the program and recipients of the subsidy are the Joint Secretariat based in the Saxon Development Bank and regional offices located in the subsidy area.

The aim of the project is to strengthen the emotional bond of the local population to the common Czech-German mining heritage and to deepen the understanding of its enormous global significance, which will be achieved through the implementation of milestones set in the project.

Within the whole project, the existing materials, programs and educational offers, and documentation of selected mining monuments will be analyzed on the Czech and German side of the Krušné Mountains and then a unified concept of its presentation will be created.
