Establishment of the FF Language Centre
The FF Language Centre was established in the winter semester 2008. Its aim is to provide FF students with quality language teaching. We prepare students for communication and scientific work in foreign languages with regard to their humanities specialisation.
The system of teaching foreign languages at the Faculty of Arts
At the moment, the Faculty of Foreign Languages provides English and German language teaching.
The Language Centre also provides professional language teaching in the upper grades and English and German teaching for continuing master's studies. We also provide language training for students in doctoral studies.
In the summer semester, the language centre also offers PVK lessons. Teaching takes place in foreign languages using the CLIL (Content Language Intergrated Learning) method. The students' professional knowledge and skills are expanded and at the same time the students' language skills are improved.
