The Center for Subject-Based Didactics, Practices and Lifelong Education is primarily a methodological workplace. In addition to providing practice for students of the Faculty of Arts and continuous methodological support for teachers of social sciences, history and German language and literature, we are creating a network of primary and secondary schools that cooperate with us in the education of student teachers.
For teachers of these and other schools, we implement educational programs and didactic competitions and various educational activities for their students.
As part of lifelong and further education programs, we offer additional pedagogical studies to those interested in teaching to supplement their qualifications.
An important part of our work is also communication with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic and the active participation of subject-based didactics in working groups to create strategic and curricular materials for the Czech education system.
We are also involved in projects that focus on teacher programs, practice and teacher education.
A great benefit of the center is the high-quality cooperation of subject-based didactics connecting the three departments that prepare future teachers at the Faculty of Arts.
